Krishna Shroff Clears the Air: No Intention to Stay Connected with Chinki-Minki

Mumbai – Krishna Shroff, first runner-up of the popular television reality show “Chhoriya Chali Gaon”, has candidly spoken about her experience on the show and her equation with fellow contestants.

In an exclusive interaction with IANS, Krishna didn’t mince words when it came to the comedy duo Chinki-Minki. Asked if there were any participants she would prefer not to stay in touch with after the show, she replied, “Honestly, most people don’t matter to me, but if I have to name someone, I would say Chinki and Minki.”

The sisters had often accused Krishna of not displaying her personality on screen. Responding to that, Krishna explained, “It’s not about personality; it’s about maturity. You need to know when and how to react. If someone hasn’t said anything to you directly, why would you retaliate?”

Despite the differences, Krishna was all praise for her co-finalist Anita Hassanandani, who emerged as the winner. “If I had to lose to anyone, I’m glad it was Anita. She was my strongest competitor and the most experienced in the house. She never meddled in personal issues and remained focused on the competition. I respect that about her,” Krishna said.

The finale turned out to be an emotional affair for Krishna’s family. Her mother, who attended the event, told her she had already won in their eyes long before the official results. The journey itself began with encouragement from her father, veteran actor Jackie Shroff, who persuaded her to take the leap. “Because of him, I took this chance, and it turned out to be the most rewarding experience of my life,” she shared.

Known for her independent streak, Krishna enjoys a close bond with her family. Her father remains her guiding force, while her brother, Bollywood star Tiger Shroff, continues to support her in all her ventures.

Although she has chosen not to step into mainstream acting, Krishna Shroff has carved her own niche in fitness and reality television.
