'You’re a Fantastic Co-Star,' Adivi Sesh Wishes Wamiqa Gabbi

Chennai: Actor Adivi Sesh, who plays the lead in Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi’s upcoming spy action thriller Goodachari 2, has shared a belated yet heartfelt birthday wish for his co-star Wamiqa Gabbi.

Posting on X a day after her birthday, Sesh wrote:
"Many many happy returns of the day dear @iWamiqaGabbi!! You’re a fantastic co-star and you’ve given so many layers of gravitas to your role. Happy Birthday to our Talented, Beautiful and Professional Lead Actress of #G2 #Goodachari2."

Adding a lighthearted note, he included a postscript: “p.s. forgive me for the late wishes” along with a folded-hands emoji.

Apart from playing the lead, Adivi Sesh has also scripted Goodachari 2, which has generated high anticipation among audiences following the massive success of its predecessor Goodachari (2018). The first film, directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, was a blockbuster and featured Sobhita Dhulipala, Jagapathi Babu, and Prakash Raj in key roles.

The sequel is being helmed by Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi and is expected to push the boundaries of regional cinema by uniting top talent from both South and North India.

Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi, last seen in the Telugu hit They Call Him OG, will join the cast as a parallel lead. Sources confirm that he will not play a negative character but will instead share significant screen space with Adivi Sesh.

With the sequel, the makers aim to elevate the Goodachari franchise to new heights, furthering its reputation as one of Telugu cinema’s most exciting spy thrillers.
