Tamannaah Bhatia Highlights ‘First-Mover Advantage’ of Her New OTT Series

Mumbai- Actress Tamannaah Bhatia, who is garnering appreciation for her latest streaming release Do You Wanna Partner, spoke about the unique edge the show enjoys by being the first of its kind in its genre, calling it the “best of both worlds.”

During a promotional event in Mumbai’s Khar West, Tamannaah shared her thoughts on the series and the collaborative effort of having two directors at the helm. She said, “We had the best of both worlds with Archit Kumar and Collin D’Cunha. Archit had a strong hold on the emotional graph, while Collin brought in great comic timing. Though both are very different directors, thanks to Prime Video and Dharmatic, we managed to pull off a highly ambitious schedule efficiently. Interestingly, we shot the show back in April last year, and even after all this time, no one has explored this subject.”

Talking about the novelty factor, she added, “In today’s era, there is so much discussion about entrepreneurship and startups. There’s a wealth of knowledge and information available, yet no one has tackled this kind of story. That’s why we hope to have the first-mover advantage in this space.”

Tamannaah had earlier described her character as a “hustler”—impulsive, passion-driven, yet also serving as the voice of reason to balance her chaos.

Directed by Collin D’Cunha and Archit Kumar, the series features an ensemble cast including Jaaved Jaaferi, Nakuul Mehta, Shweta Tiwari, Neeraj Kabi, Sufi Motiwala, and Rannvijay Singha.

Do You Wanna Partner is currently streaming on Prime Video.
