Mumbai- Former Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu is stepping into Bollywood with a powerful debut in the high-octane film Baaghi 4, starring Tiger Shroff. The actress shared her thoughts on entering the industry through the action genre, which she says requires “discipline, stamina, and spirit.”
The trailer of Baaghi 4 had an exclusive premiere inside the Bigg Boss house before its global release on Saturday. Speaking about her unconventional debut choice, Harnaaz said:
“Most people expected me to play a role that leaned on beauty and grace, but it feels incredible that my very first film breaks that mould. Action cinema demands discipline, stamina, and spirit—and it is an honour to be welcomed into the industry with this genre.”
She added that she feels like she is “standing on the shoulders of legends of the action realm,” and expressed hope that this trailer is “just the beginning of a lasting connection with audiences.”
Baaghi 4 features Tiger Shroff, Harnaaz Sandhu, Sonam Bajwa, and Sanjay Dutt, promising bone-crushing stunts, explosive drama, and a raw, unfiltered showdown. Backed by Sajid Nadiadwala under the Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment banner, with story, screenplay, and production by him, the film is directed by A. Harsha.
The film has earned an ‘A’ certificate from the CBFC—marking the first time a Nadiadwala Grandson production has ventured into such bold, gritty territory. With chart-topping songs like Guzaara, Bahli Sohni, and Akeli Laila already trending, the film is set to storm cinemas worldwide on September 5.
The Baaghi franchise began in 2016 with Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor, directed by Sabbir Khan, and was partly inspired by the Telugu film Varsham (2004).
