Akanksha Puri’s ‘So Long Valley’ Teaser Hints at an Intense Crime Drama Amid Manali’s Haunting Landscapes

Mumbai — The teaser poster for Akanksha Puri’s upcoming crime thriller So Long Valley has been unveiled on social media, offering a gripping first glimpse into the film's intense and suspenseful narrative.

Set against the breathtaking yet ominous backdrop of Manali, the story promises a thrilling mix of mystery, emotion, and suspense. The visually striking poster builds anticipation for what is expected to be a captivating cinematic experience. The film also stars Ashram fame Tridha Choudhury, along with Vikram Kochhar and Man Singh.

Speaking about her character, Tridha said, “Portraying Inspector Suman Negi has been a turning point for me. The character is layered, intense, and emotionally demanding—it pushed me to explore a very raw side of myself.”

Man Singh, who plays the lead role and also directs the film, shared, “So Long Valley is more than just a thriller. Balancing both acting and directing was challenging, but the gripping storyline required that level of dedication. It’s a story that lingers with you.”

Touted as a monsoon treat for thriller enthusiasts, So Long Valley is produced by Sourya Studios and distributed by August Entertainment. Shot entirely in the scenic yet treacherous locales of Manali and Pratapgarh, the film blends natural beauty with an undercurrent of danger. It has received a UA certificate and features a strong ensemble cast including Vikram Kochhar, Alisha Parveen, and Pankaj Choudhary.

The plot revolves around a woman who approaches the Manali police in search of her missing sister. As the investigation intensifies between Shimla and Manali, suspicion falls on a local taxi driver. What starts as a simple missing person case soon spirals into a dark web of secrets, unexpected twists, and hidden players manipulating events behind the scenes.

The film is scheduled for a nationwide theatrical release on July 25, 2025.
