If Attacked, U.S. Will Respond With Unprecedented Force: Trump Warns Iran

New York: Former U.S. President Donald Trump issued a sharp warning to Iran on Sunday amid escalating tensions between Iran and Israel, now entering a third day of intense cross-border conflict. While making it clear that the United States had no involvement in the latest military strikes, Trump emphasized that any attack on American interests would be met with overwhelming retaliation.

Posting on Truth Social, Trump wrote:
“The US had nothing to do with the attack on Iran tonight. If we are attacked in any way, shape, or form by Iran, the full strength and might of the US Armed Forces will come down on you at levels never seen before. However, we can easily get a deal done between Iran and Israel, and end this bloody conflict!”

Tensions in the Middle East have soared following a series of tit-for-tat attacks between Israel and Iran.

On Sunday, the Israeli military confirmed it had launched a major offensive against key Iranian military sites, including the headquarters of Iran’s Defence Ministry and the SPND, a significant nuclear research center. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) also claimed to have targeted a location allegedly used by Iran to conceal nuclear archives.

In retaliation, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said they had launched strikes on Israeli energy infrastructure and jet fuel production facilities.

The severity of the Iranian response was underscored by air raid sirens sounding across Israeli cities, including Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.

This latest confrontation comes in the wake of Operation “Rising Lion”, launched by Israel on Friday, which focused on crippling Iran’s nuclear and military infrastructure.

Defending the operation, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated, “This operation is necessary to roll back the Iranian threat to Israel’s very survival. It will continue as long as needed to eliminate this danger.”

Amid rising regional tensions, Trump reiterated his position that Iran must engage diplomatically with the U.S. regarding its nuclear ambitions.
“Iran must make a deal, before there is nothing left,” he warned.
