Rumour has it Babulal Marandi to join Mahagathbandhan

Ranchi: As the exit polls after the end of elections gave Mahagathbandhan an edge in the race to the chair of the Chief Minister and pointing the BJP may fall short of the magic figure on eyes in the state ar on Babulal Marandi whose party might turn up to be king maker incase both sides fail to reach the magic mark.

Despite counting being scheduled on Monday all the parties have started approaching each other over a possible post poll alliance in which the role of Marandi becomes significant.

On Saturday he met Bishop Sailesh Toppo at the Bishop House located t Purulia Road and extended his greetings for the upcoming festival of Christmas.

Later talking to the press he said that he will not side with the BJP as the party had tried to destroy him. He said that BJP had adopted all possible means to finish his political career therefore there was no chance of him joining them.

All the exit polls have predicted that Mr Marandi and his party may get 2-4seats in which case he will be a vital cog if the major alliance fail to get the magic number of 41. Marandi had fielded his candidates on all the 81 seats of the state and he himself had contested from Dhanwar seat.
