Will not support any government in state: Saryu Rai

Jamshedpur: Former Cabinet Minister who campaigned for JMM’s Hemant Soren in Dumka and later also extended his support to the CAA said that he has no plans to support any coalition who will form the next government in the state.

He said that against Chief Minister Raghubar Das he has not contested the polls but is rather the people of the area who have stood in the election and if he goes on to win he will not extend support to any alliance.

He said that as an independent candidate he will keep an eye on the words of the state government.

Mr Rai said that in the last five years money was spent, schemes were framed and even promises were made to the people but development did not take place, therefore, no matter who forms the government he will not extend his support but will monitor the functioning of the government.

Over the exit polls predictions he said that it was a mere trend whereas the real verdict will be out on December 23. He said that he had fought the elections not to get a victory but it is rather a big war for him but the people of Jamshedpur East are claiming towards his victory.

When asked over horse-trading after the election results he said that for five years there was a stable government in the state but development then also never reached the people.
