Maoists wiped out from Jharkhand, people can now easily travel late night: Nadda

Latehar: Acting president of BJP JP Nadda said that under Chief Minister Raghubar Das the Maoists have been wiped out from the state and now the people can easily travel out with their families in the night.

Addressing an election rally in Chandwa of this district he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was working to take the country on such heights which could not be achieved in the last 70 years.

Recalling the valour of Bhagwan Birsa Munda he said that had fought against the Britishers to make the area and his people free from the British rule. Mr Nadda asked the people to support local candidate Prakash Ram and said that it was not only the question of ensuring victory for the BJP or Raghubar Das but was also a matter for making the future of the state.

He said that post the creation of Jharkhand no chief minister has completed five years in power and it was Chief Minister Raghubar Das who has completed his tenure and has taken the state forward on the path of progress.

He said that earlier after 12 in the afternoon the people in Latehar due to the fear of Maoists did not come out but now even in midnight they can freely move out in the area as the maoists have been removed from the state.

He said on May 23rd when the results of Lok Sabha elections were declared then the MP from the area Sunil Singh strengthened the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi due to which article 370 and 35 A was removed from Kashmir after which it became part of the Indian Constitution and those leaders who have looted Jammu Kashmir will now be put into.

Mr Nadda also raised the issue of triple Talaq and said that the opposition tried to spread rumours over the issue of triple talaq.

He said that when Sati system and child marriages can be abolished in the country then why not Triple Talaq as in many Muslim countries there is no such provision of Triple Talaq. Union Minister for Tribal Affairs Arjun Munda was also present on the occasion.
