Saraikela-Kharsawan: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that the investors would be provided with all possible facilities in-order to strengthen the economy of the state and said that to promote the idea of make in Jharkhand the vendor development programme has been organised which is aimed at acting as a bridge with the investors working in the defense and the railways sector.
Addressing the vendor development programme organised at Adityapur here he said that since the ancient era India has attracted world as a lucrative market and keep this thought in mind Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given the call of Make in India. He said that the state government was making efforts for industrial development of the state. He said that state government was encouraging
small industries in the state. He said that the vendor development programme is also aimed to show the production capacity of the
He said that on the likes of Aditypur and Jamshedpur, Manoharpur and Chaibasa would be developed as industrial areas
for which the land has been already identified. Mr Das said that Vedanta Company would be putting up a steel plant in the area
whose foundation would be laid in the month of January. Mr Das pointed out that Jharkhand was a state full of opportunities and lamented the fact that in the last 14 years due to political instability the state could not make the desired progress. However, things have changed in the last four years and the state was marching ahead in every sphere including industries, tourism and agriculture as his government was working for the betterment of all the sectors.
Adding further said that there is a huge demand of products manufactured in the state across the world, therefore, the focus should be on making quality products. He said that his government has simplified the rules and made them simple so that new industries are set up in the state. He asked the investors to get in touch with the state government in case they face any trouble in establishing their units in the state. Mr Das said that Jharkhand would play a vital role in making India an economic super-power as the state has been blessed with most mineral reserve and industries.
He said that under the Momentum Jharkhand initiative which was organised in February 2017 so far foundations have been laid for 490 units which have also created employment in large numbers. The Chief Minister said that there was also a huge demand of the skilled workforce of Jharkhand in various sectors as a result of which for enhancing the skills of the youth Rs 700 crore was set aside in the budget for skill development. He said that India ranks first in the area of steel production and was second in the production of the fisheries, was the third largest economy of the world and fourth in the automobile segment.
He said that in future Jharkhand would be the number one state in every sphere as both the central and the state government was working towards a common goal. He said that in Adityapur research design and standard organization will set up an auto cluster office so that those working in this sector can get one place. He said that Jharkhand also has lots of potential in the railways and the defense sector and there was a need to work together with the state government in this so that the brand Jharkhand can be established.
