CM Das lauds Madhumita for winning silver medal in Asiad 2018, announces Rs 10 lakh reward

Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das congratulated the state's Madhumita and her teammates after the Indian archery team won a silver medal in the compound event at the ongoing 18th Asian Games in Jakarta.

Congratulating Madhumita on her achievement, Das announced that the Jharkhand government would provide her an incentive of Rs 10 lakh for bringing pride to the country and raising the Tricolour on the international stage.

The Chief Minister said Madhumita's achievement was a matter of pride for Jharkhand and described her as an inspiration for the state's young people and daughters.

He extended his best wishes to Madhumita and the other members of the Indian team for their performance at the Asian Games.
