Jaipur Polo Team Outclass Chandna Polo 9.5–5 in Kognivera Cup

Jaipur: Continuing their impressive run in the Kognivera Cup, the Jaipur Polo Team delivered a commanding performance to defeat Chandna Polo 9.5–5 in a well-controlled contest. Showcasing strong attacking coordination, disciplined structure, and composure across all four chukkers, Jaipur asserted their authority to notch up another convincing victory in the tournament.

Jaipur began steadily, edging the opening chukker 1.5–1 as both sides settled into the game. HH Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh spearheaded Jaipur’s early attacking moves, while Chandna Polo stayed competitive through Alejo’s efforts.

The momentum shifted decisively in the second chukker, with Jaipur significantly raising the tempo. Crisp ball movement and clinical finishing helped them extend their lead to 5.5–2 by halftime. Bhawani Singh Kalvi and Lance Watson made key contributions during this phase, effectively supporting HH Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh as Jaipur took control of the match.

Chandna Polo showed determination in the third chukker, with Alejo continuing to press forward and add to their score. Jaipur, however, remained calm and disciplined, countering effectively to maintain their advantage at 6.5–4 going into the final chukker.

In the closing stages, Jaipur managed the game with maturity, adding three more goals to seal a 9.5–5 win. Although Chandna Polo scored a late goal, Jaipur’s structured approach ensured they stayed firmly in command until the final whistle.

HH Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh once again starred for Jaipur with four goals, while Bhawani Singh Kalvi contributed three and Lance Watson added two to complete a comprehensive team performance. For Chandna Polo, Alejo led the scoring with three goals, with Ashok Chandna and Dino Dhankar chipping in one goal each.
