
Hyderabad – The Hyderabad Open 2025, organized by the World Pickleball League On Tour in collaboration with Hyderabad Superstars, will be held from August 22 to 24 at CrossCourts, Hyderabad. The tournament offers a prize pool of ?15 lakh across 60 categories.
With competitions ranging from intermediate to advanced and professional levels, the Hyderabad Open aims to promote inclusivity—encouraging participation from both recreational enthusiasts and professional pickleball athletes. Categories are structured based on DUPR ratings, ensuring fair competition across the board.
The event will feature a wide array of divisions, including:
Under-18: Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles (Boys & Girls)
35+ Age Group: Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles (Men & Women)
50+ Age Group: Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles (Men & Women)
Open Category: Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles (Men & Women)
Over 500 players are expected to participate across the three-day event, making it Hyderabad’s biggest pickleball tournament to date.
The Hyderabad Superstars—one of the franchises in the World Pickleball League—were semifinalists in Season 1 and are now working to foster a stronger pickleball culture in the city. Backed by KLO Sports along with actors Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani, the franchise is helping to grow the sport’s popularity in Hyderabad and beyond.
Winners and standout performers from the Hyderabad Open may also get a chance to represent the Hyderabad Superstars in upcoming league seasons.
The World Pickleball League returns with Season 2 at Mumbai’s Jio World Garden from January 24 to February 8, 2026, promising a bigger and more exciting edition.
