Indewheelers Motorsports Joins ISRL Season 2 as Newest Franchise

Pune: Indewheelers Motorsports has officially joined the Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL) as the newest franchise for Season 2, becoming Pune’s second team on the grid.

With this addition, Pune further strengthens its reputation as a national hub for motorsports. Indewheelers Motorsports Pvt. Ltd. is co-founded by motorsport veteran Vikram Dhar and young entrepreneur Ajay Agrawal. The team promises to combine deep racing experience with modern business insight as it enters India’s top-tier Supercross competition.

“Our mission is to build India’s most respected, performance-driven Supercross team, grounded in professionalism and passion. Indewheelers Motorsports is committed to inspiring the next generation of racers and fueling the long-term development of India’s motorsport ecosystem,” said Vikram Dhar, Founder and Team Principal.

Vikram, an avid off-roader since 2006, is the 2017–18 Emirates Desert Championship Champion and has raced across challenging terrains worldwide. In addition to his racing achievements, he has held senior leadership roles in multinational corporations. Co-owner Ajay Agrawal, a chartered accountant and entrepreneur, brings strong financial and global distribution expertise, representing a new era of leadership in motorsports.

The team has also forged a strategic partnership with Arabian Coast Group, a global infrastructure powerhouse—highlighting the increasing interest of international investors in India’s expanding motorsport scene.

As Pune’s second team alongside BB Racing, Indewheelers Motorsports adds fresh competitive energy to the league. The presence of two teams from the same city positions Pune as a vital breeding ground for Supercross talent, enhances grassroots development, and draws in new fans. It also paves the way for increased infrastructure investments, reinforcing the city’s pivotal role in shaping the future of motorsports in India.

"We're excited to welcome Indewheelers Motorsports to the ISRL family," said Eeshan Lokhande, Co-founder and Director of ISRL. "Their entry is a strong signal of the league’s growth and a major step toward inspiring the next wave of racing talent in India."

The Indian Supercross Racing League has already made headlines by naming Bollywood superstar Salman Khan as both its brand ambassador and investor.

With Season 2 set to kick off in October 2025, ISRL promises bigger races, more immersive fan experiences, and deeper brand engagement—positioning itself at the crossroads of sport, business, and entertainment, as motorsports gains commercial momentum in India.
