New Delhi: As consumers increasingly rely on multiple connected devices for work, entertainment, fitness, and communication, realme is strengthening its AIoT ecosystem to offer a smoother and more intelligent connected experience for Indian users.
Today’s digital lifestyle revolves around seamless movement between smartphones, earbuds, smartwatches, gaming, streaming, and productivity tools. However, users often face interruptions caused by disconnected devices and manual controls.
According to a report by IDC, India’s wearable market recorded 119 million shipments in 2024, with TWS earbuds accounting for 70.9 percent of the earwear segment. Another report by Counterpoint Research noted strong growth in India’s premium smartwatch category, reflecting rising demand for advanced and feature-rich AIoT devices.
Amid this shift, realme is focusing on building a smarter ecosystem where devices work together seamlessly and adapt intelligently to users’ everyday needs.
To expand this ecosystem, realme is set to launch the realme Buds Air8 Pro and realme Watch S5 on May 22, 2026.
The realme Buds Air8 Pro comes equipped with 55dB Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation, which automatically adjusts according to surrounding noise levels for an uninterrupted audio experience. It also features a Triple-Mic AI Calling system for clearer voice calls in noisy environments.
For audio performance, the earbuds offer an 11mm + 6mm dual-driver setup, LHDC 5.0 Hi-Res Wireless Audio support, and a wide 20Hz–40kHz frequency response range. The device is designed to handle multiple use cases, including music streaming, gaming, OTT entertainment, and calls. Additional features include Transparency Mode, up to 50 hours of battery backup, and fast charging support.
Meanwhile, the realme Watch S5 focuses on long battery life, health monitoring, and outdoor usability. It features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with high brightness for better outdoor visibility and a 460mAh battery capable of delivering up to 20 days of usage on a single charge.
The smartwatch also supports independent GPS with five satellite systems, enabling accurate activity tracking without requiring a smartphone. Health and fitness features include more than 110 sports modes, continuous heart rate monitoring, SpO2 tracking, sleep analysis, stress monitoring, Single Tap Health Measurement, and 5ATM water resistance.
Manufactured in India, both devices reflect realme’s strategy of delivering premium AIoT experiences tailored specifically for Indian consumers.
