Vice President Venkaiah Naidu to arrive on Sunday

Ranchi: Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu will be arriving on the two-day visit to the state on Sunday during which he will be participating in the programmes to be held in Ranchi and Jamshedpur.

During his two day visit to the state, the Vice President will participate in a programme of IIM Ranchi to be held in Mayuri Auditorium of the CMPDI on February 16 while on the next day he will be travelling to Jamshedpur where he will attend a programme at XLRI after which he will return to New Delhi.

In wake of the visit of the Vice President elaborate security arrangements has been made in the capital and especially around the Raj Bhawan where Mr Naidu will be staying in the night. The traffic police have also come up with a separate plan to enable hassle-free movement for the VVIP.

The traffic police have planned to stop the flow of normal traffic on the Birsa Rajpath post the arrival of the Vice President at the airport and his subsequent departure towards the Raj Bhawan. The traffic will be opened after the carcade crosses the different areas one by one.
