BJP demands probe against CNT-SPT violation done by Soren family

Ranchi: Rajya Sabha MP cum state BJP vice president Sameer Oraon has alleged that in order to hide its failures the state government was planning to shut down the schemes of the former government of Raghubar Das.

Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters here he said that the parties had come to power promising 150 percent more cost of the produce to the farmers coupled with loan wavier but on the other hand it was planning to close the Krishi Aashirwad Yojana which was benefitting 35 lakh farmers and was enabling them to stand on their feet.

He said that it has been reported in the media that the government was also planning to stop the registry of the property up to Rs 50 lakh in the name of women at just Rs 1 which was rather aimed at women empowerment. He said that under BJP rule 80percent property was registered in the name of women however just for the heck of revenge the JMM wanted to close the scheme.

Oraon asked the state government to come clean over such steps which will be set back towards the empowerment of the women. He said that when the state government was conducting a probe into the tenders which have been awarded in the last five years than it should also conduct a probe into the instances of CNT/SPT violation done by the Soren family in the 7 districts of the state.
