Gas tanker over turns in Ramgarh disrupting traffic movement on NH-33

Ramgarh: An LPG loaded gas tanker overturned at Loha Gate under Kuju Police Station area of this district following which traffic was stopped on the NH-33 for many hours.

Post the incident gas started leaking from the tanker which was going to Nepal from Odisha as the pressure meter got damaged.

The nearest police station was immediately informed about the incident following which movement of the vehicles was stopped on the NH.

Later a team of experts called from Bokaro stopped the gas leakage from the tanker after which movement recommenced on the route. Due to the traffic movement restrictions, a long queue of vehicles was stranded on both sides of the road.
