Ramgarh: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren offered prayers along with his family members at Maa Chinmastika Temple located Rajrappa here.
First, the Chief Minister offered prayers at the Sarna Sathal after which he offered his obeisance to the deity and sought her blessings.
Earlier upon reaching the temple, he was welcomed by a large number of the people who had gathered to catch a glimpse of the Chief Minister.
He said that his victory was a gift on the occasion of the new year to take the state forward on the path of development. He said that he has asked the deity to give him strength.
He said that every person was watching the state government therefore the blessings of the goddess should remain on everyone.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by his wife Kalpana Soren and kids. Ramgarh MLA Mamta Devi was also present on the occasion.
