Shahnawaz Hussain says review petition filed by AIMPLB over Ayodhya verdict unfortunate

Ranchi: BJP national spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain said that the decision of All India Muslim Personal Law Board was unfortunate and was taken under the pressure of Asaduddin Owaisi and was also not a reflection of the views of the community.

Addressing a press conference here he said whether the AIMPLB had collected an opinion in this regard across the country or whether it had gone to state or district level to collect information regarding the views of the people.

He said that it was just under the pressure of Owaisi that the board has filed for a review petition. He said that the party was unitedly contesting the Vidhan Sabha polls in Jharkhand and will achieve the target of bagging more than 65 seats and form the next government as the steps of a developing Jharkhand will not be stopped.

He said that before the Lok Sabha polls also some parties had formed Mahagathbandhan in Jharkhand and Bihar but all of them were defeated and once again all anti-BJP forces have formed an alliance in the Vidhan Sabha polls of Jharkhand.

However going by  the huge turnout of the people in the rallies of the Prime Minister in Jamshedpur and Khunti it was already clear that BJP will cross the 65 plus seat mark in the elections, he said adding that Jharkhand was among the state where the state government has successfully implemented all the schemes of the state government.

To a query, he said that it was the wrong perception that only Hussain and Naqvi were the minority faces of the BJP and claimed that the minority cell of the party was so strong that it has its presence at the booth level.

He said that just for the lust of power Congress can go to any extent and pointed how a number 4 party in Maharashtra which is the Congress in alliance with number 3party NCP made Uddhav Thackrey who is the leader of number 2 party the Chief Minister while the number one party which is the BJP is sitting in Opposition.

To another query, he said that BJP has its alliance with LJP and JD-U in Bihar and claimed that under Nitish Kumar once again NDA will be back in power in Bihar. On the issue of NRC he said that it will be implemented across the country and time has come when illegal Bangladeshis should pack their bags.
