Khunti: A group of eight youths who had gone for sight seeing to the neighbouring country of Nepal on two private vehicles have been trapped and two of them have been arrested by the Nepal Police.
The arrested have been identified as Rahul Sahu and Shubham Sahu who are residents of Karra Road. Both the cars have been also seized by the Nepalese police who claim that both the car are stolen.
The youth have informed their family members through whatsapp and said that the custom officers in Nepal were demanding a sum of Rs 45,00,000 for releasing both the boys.
The family members said that the police of Koteshwar Police Station in Kathmandu has stopped the boys as they did not had permit and later claimed that both the cars were stolen.
The parents have urged the state government to bring their children home. For the people of India, they do not need passport or visa to travel to Nepal due to which a large number of people travel to the neighbouring nation to see the Himalayan wonders.
