Through posters candidates on reserved seats asked to pay Rs 30 lakh

Simdega: Through posters, the All Adivasi Jharkhand People’s Army has demanded a sum of Rs 30 lakh from candidates who are contesting elections on reserved seats of the state. The organization has asked the candidates to deposit the money in the name of the party.

Upon receiving information a police team which reached on the spot seized them.

Out of 81 Assembly seats in Jharkhand 28 seats are in the reserved category.

The organisation through its poster has said that the leaders who will not be depositing the money action would be taken against them.

Meanwhile, local police said that for the first time the name of this organisation has surfaced and the matter is being probed. In the poster action has been also warned against those exploiting the tribals.
