Dumka: A mud house collapsed due to excessive rainfall in Aamjhar village under Jama Police Station area of this district in which a total of three people including lost their lives.
The deceased have been identified as Lukhi Marandi (30), Lukhi Murmu (28) and Amdar Hembram (60). At the time of the incident, the trio were sleeping inside one room. A villager said that the two children of Lukhi Marandi Rajesh Marandi (10) and Mukesh Marandi (4) were sleeping in another room at the time of the incident due to which they were safe.
Upon receiving information BDO Sadhucharan Devgam along with police personnel for local police station reached on the spot. Later the bodies were sent for post-mortem to Sadar Hospital.
