Ranchi: AICC general secretary and in charge for party affairs in Jharkhand RPN Singh reached the state capital where he was welcomed by senior leaders including JPCC chief Dr Rameshwar Oraon and leader of the legislature wing of Congress party Aalamgir Aalam.
JPCC spokesperson M Tauseef said that upon his arrival at the airport Mr Singh was accorded a warm welcome by the leaders and the party workers.
He said that Mr Singh will be participating in a meeting with the acting presidents, media cell and zonal coordinators of the party. He will be also interacting with the senior Congressmen in the state.
Dr Tauseef said that Mr Singh will also be participating in the pad yatra programme to be organised by the party on the occasion of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on October 2.
