Hemant promises Rs 3 lakh for homes construction if voted to power

Khunti: JMM’s acting president Hemant Soren said that if the BJP comes back to power in state than the Adivasis and Moolwasis will remain in Jharkhand just for namesake and those who will be left will spend their lives as labourers.

Addressing a public gathering at the Kutchury grounds here as part of his Badloa Yatra he said that if the JMM forms the next government than the people will be given homes for which Rs 3 lakh will be provided and these homes will be equipped with all facilities including power, water, toilets etc.

He said that in the 19 years it is the BJP which has ruled for 16-17 years during which it has only taken away the rights of the locals and looted the land by making changes in the CNT-SPT Act, land acquisition act, forest rights act and domicile policy. He said that if JMM was not in Jharkhand than the CNT/SPT Acts could not have been saved.

Mr Soren said that the tribals and the locals are the owners of the Jal, Jungle and Zameen of Jharkhand while the BJP was busy making the people fight in the name of Hindu-Muslim, Sarna-Christain and was looting the land of the tribals to make the land banks which will be given to Ambani and Adani. He said that the great martyrs of the state gave up their lives to save the Jal Jungle and Zameen of the state.

Hemant accused the BJP of disrespecting Dishom Guru Shibu Soren and said that in the days to come it will disrespect all other great martyrs including Bhagwan Birsa Munda, Sidho-Kanhu, etc. He accused the state government of sending innocent people behind the bars and said that hundreds of youth are in the hails of the state. He said that ‘mukhiya’ of the BJP government came as a worker from Chhattisgarh and now has become the owner of the state.
