Address of grievances of people priority for state government: Barnwal

Ranchi: Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Sunil Kumar Barnwal said solving the problems of the people is a priority for the state government and any negligence or lackadaisical approach in its tackling will not be tolerated.

Chairing the weekly review of the complaints registered at the Jan Samvad Kendra he directed the nodal officers to ensure that the complaints are speedily disposed off.

A total of 18 complaints were reviewed by him during the program. A complaint was filed by the villagers of Sisai of Gumla district where they appointed the issue of a bridge being damaged on the Koel river since 2017 but still its repair or reconstruction had not taken up over this the Nodal Officer said that the tender for reconstruction has been issued over which the Principal Secretary said the tender process should be completed within a month and the construction work should commence.

Over complaint by one Ranjeet Kumar Barnwal of Gawan circle area of Giridih district where he pointed that wrong entry had been made in register two and land details were filled wrong over this he directed the AC to correct the mistakes.

He said that for a small mistake a person is been made to run for months after a government office and said that the officers have become insensitive.

Over a similar complaint from Deoghar district where it was pointed that due to technical faults in the Jharbhoomi rent receipt was not being issued. He said that wherever technical flaws are being faced then as per the decision of the cabinet manual receipt can be given.

Over complaint from Ranipur panchayat of Godda district where it was appointed that the tribal gram Samiti had not been provided its fund allocation over this is directed to provide the funds as soon as possible.

Villages of Chitbisram village of Nagaruntari block of Garhwa district said that despite power not being available in the village they were being provided the electricity bill over with he directed the Nodal Officer to visit the spot and submit a report.

Mr Barnwal also ordered action against the investigating officer of a case who had failed to execute a nonbailable warrant against a builder who had cheated the customer.

The court had issued a nonbailable warrant against the builder on September 15, 2018, but till date, the order had not been implemented over which he asked the SP to file a report and take action against the Investigating officer.

Those present included Special Secretary of CMO Ramakant Singh, DIG to DGP Sams Tabrez and others.
