Indefinite gate lock down agitation continues at DVC’s Chandrapura Plant

Bokaro: Under the banner of United Contract Workers Union hundreds of contract workers in support of their demands have started the gate blocked of the Chandapura plant of the Damodar Valley Corporation located in this district.

Official sources said that the workers have blocked the main gate and also get number five and six of the plants due to which hundreds of employees supply workers and contract labourers are left stranded inside the plant. Moreover, a big line of coal-laden hyva is also standard at gate number 5.

The leaders of the agitating workers said that without any prior information 42 of their associates were removed from job and demanded that they should be immediately taken back or the agitation would continue.
