The BJP Mahila Morcha has called for strengthening its organisational network from the district level down to individual booths, with a renewed emphasis on increasing women’s participation in party activities.

The organisation held a meeting in Deoghar under the chairpersonship of district vice-president Vijaya Singh, with state president Seema Singh attending as the chief guest. The programme began with floral tributes to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya and Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee.

Addressing party members, Seema Singh stressed the need for better coordination between senior leaders and new members, along with greater discipline and sustained organisational engagement. She urged Mahila Morcha members to bring more women into the party and expand its outreach at the grassroots level.

Referring to the BJP-led government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, she said the government had taken steps to promote women’s dignity and development. She also alleged that the Congress was attempting to create unrest in the country with support from foreign forces. Singh said the Mahila Morcha would work to raise awareness among women on the issue.

The meeting was attended by BJP district president Sachin Rawani, former MLA Narayan Das, Vishakha Singh, Sunita Singh, Nawal Rai, Pankaj Singh Bhadoria, Sulochana Devi, Alka Soni, Mamta Gupta and several other Mahila Morcha members.

The meeting focused on grassroots organisational expansion, stronger coordination among party workers and efforts to increase women’s involvement in the organisation.
