Ranchi: Rain and thunder showers have been protected in the state for the next 4 days.
The weather department has said that till September 25th many districts of the state would receive medium to light rainfall and even the capital of Ranchi and its adjoining area would remain under the cloud cover.
Weather department said that Jamshedpur has received 23 millimetres of rainfall. On the other hand weather scientist, RS Sharma said that at present no system was prevailing over Jharkhand.
He said that on the basis of the indications it is expected that from September 23rd to 25th on one or two occasions light to medium rainfall can take place in many districts of the state.
He said that on Monday rainfall is expected in the north east and central districts while on Tuesday it is expected in some other districts while on Wednesday rainfall is likely to play place in North and North Eastern districts.
The weather department has also predicted thundershowers with lightning in some of the places in the state in the next 48 hours.
