Products made by artisans of Jharkhand to be soon seen in global markets

Dumka: Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that the government was making efforts so that items made Mr bamboo from the state can make a name for itself at the world level and soon a day will come when the products manufactured by artisans of the state will be sold in the global markets.

Addressing the concluding ceremony of the Bamboo Artisans conclave organized at the outdoor stadium here he said that the main purpose behind organising the event was to bring out the hidden talent among the youth and women of the state and make them aware of modern technology so that they can make better products.

He said that Jharkhand was a land of opportunities and cottage and small scale industries form the backbone of the economy.

Mr Das said that the state government was working to improve the rural economy and pointed that the entire world was rapidly moving ahead with the use of Technology knowledge and Science and it should be made sure that Jharkhand also does not remain behind.

He said that the bamboo artisans of the state should be able to use new technology and there was no doubt that in the days to come to Jharkhand with emerging as an economic superpower in front of the world.

Mr Das said that the state government has worked in all the sectors and has set new milestones of development as he believes in quick development and lamented the fact that due to the 14 years of political instability Jharkhand had lagged behind which needed to be overcome soon.

He said that he was happy to know that the quality of the bamboo products manufactured in the state was best in the country.
