In 100 days of Central Government growth rate decreased, slowdown and unemployment increased: Oraon

Ranchi: JPCC Chief Dr Rameshwar Oraon said that the 100 days of Modi government had been poor as far as the development of the country is considered as while on one hand the growth rate has declined on the other hand the economic slowdown and unemployment has increased.

Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters here he said that people had to face lots of difficulties in these 100 days. Dr Oraon said that the new motor vehicles act was implemented without teaching the people due to which people are in problems.

He said that fine has been increased to 10 times and like a black law, it has been implemented. Dr Oraon said that the country was going through the slowdown and in the entire country most unemployment was in Jharkhand and in Jamshedpur alone 30,000 people have lost their jobs.

He also accused the government of exploiting the opposition and pointed the example of the arrest of former Minister Bandhu Tirkey and alleged that conspiracy had been hatched to weaken the opposition. He said that law and order condition of the state was pathetic and girls and women were being raped and mob lynching was rampant in the state.

He alleged that the financial condition of the state was poor and pointed out that the condition of the education sector was pathetic in the state. Dr Oraon also alleged that condition of Mnrega was very bad in the state and workers are not being paid. He said corruption was rampant in the state and without bribe, not a single work was being done in any of the government offices.

He said that in the name of land bank the land of the poor had been taken so that it could be sold to the corporate houses. Over the issue of the coalition he said talks are on with all the parties however at the correct time it will be opened. He said that the state committee will be soon expanded as the process was on and those who are working will get a place in the committee.
