24 trained youth from Kalyan Gurukul Torpa leave for Dubai for job

Ranchi/ Khunti: Chief Minister Raghubar Das has congratulated the 24 youths who belonged to the Kalyan Gurukul Torpa of Khunti district who left for Dubai for a job.

The state government since the very beginning has stressed on the need to empower the youth of the state by enhancing their skills. The central government has formed the skill development ministry while the state government has formed the skill development department so that unemployed youths can be skilled and are made to stand on their feet so that they can get jobs.

The group of 24 youths who hailed from SC ST and Minorities in a function held at the DC office here also inspired others before leaving for Dubai.

All these youths have completed their 90 day electrician training at Kalyan Gurukul in Torpa which is run by the Welfare Department of the state government. These youths have been recruited in Voltas on a monthly salary of Rs 20,000 and apart from that the company will be also providing them with accommodation facilities.

Speaking on the occasion Khunti DC Suraj Kumar said Kalyan Gurukul was working with dedication to create employment opportunities for the youth. He said that in the state 25 Kalyan Gurukuls are functioning from which more than 10,000 youths have been hired in renowned national and international companies.

He said that Kalyan Gurukul in Torpa was set up in 2018 and so far 170 unemployed youths have got jobs and currently training was on for another 120 youth. He said that admission for the next batch of 120 was on in the institute.
