Work for data entry of farmers should be completed by September 10: CM

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that ensuring that the benefits of the PM Kissan Yojana and Mukhyamantri Krishi Samman Yojana was a priority for the state government as it wanted to ensure that the farmers get their benefits and said that negligence in this work will not be tolerated at any cost. Chairing a review meeting with the DCs through video conferencing at the project building here he said that the names of farmers which has not been included in the list should be done by September 10.

He said that the work should be done on a mission mode and asked the DCs to conduct every day to conduct its monitoring and said that after three days each he himself will be going through the progress report.

He asked the DCs and his subordinate officials to work with the view of serving the people and said that suggestions should be taken from the DCs of the districts which are performing better. He said that farmers who have received the first installment of funds will get the second installment in October while farmers whose names are being included now will be getting the benefits for the first time.

Under PMAY the Griha-Parvesh for the homes which have been already completed will be held on September 3 in which the local elected representatives along with the MPs and MLAs will be present and asked the officials to conduct the progress of house constructions and said that apart from that in schools were toilets are not these in three days list should be prepared and with the help of local MLA and MP fund toilets should be constructed.

He said that freedom fighters from the state have contributed a lot in the independence struggle, therefore, honoring the great men is the responsibility of the government therefore it has been decided that in the districts related to the martyrs the schools will be named after them and asked the DCs to undertake naming of schools after the martyrs.

Mr Das asked the officials to also ensure that benefits of Sukanya Yojana reach to the girls and said that such girls who have turned 18 and are unmarried and have passed their class 12th exams with their names in the electoral rolls in their accounts Rs 10000 should be sent.

The Chief Minister said that in the urban areas by September 25, 100 Atal clinics have to be opened and asked the DCs to undertake its inspection apart from the civil surgeons. Those present in the meeting also included Development Commissioner Sukhdeo Singh, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Sunil Kumar Barnwal and other officials.
