Jansamwad Review: Instructions issued to sort out issue of salary of PTG teachers in next 15 days

Ranchi: Special Secretary of Chief Minister Secretariat Ramakant Singh directed to solve the issue of the pending payment to PGT teachers should be sorted out in the next 15 days.

Chairing the weekly review of the Complaints registered at the Jan Samvad Kendra located at the Suchna Bhawan here his directions came following a complaint from Latehar district in which it was informed that the newly appointed PGT teachers had not been paid their salary for the last seven months.

On this the officials of the school education and literacy department said that the certificates of the teachers are being verified and even their accounts in the NPS system has not been opened due to which there was a delay in paying of salary over which the special secretary directed to sort out the issue in the next 15 days.

Nandkishore Mahato of Tamar of Ranchi district pointed that in the name of building a camp Jharkhand Police had acquired his land but despite 8 years he has not been given compensation over which the officials of the revenue and land reforms department said that a letter has been written to the home department in this regard and once the process is complete the compensation would be paid.

Rajendra Kumar Goswami from Jamtara pointed that he had been sanctioned home under PMAY and despite the construction of the house the labour payment was not done over which the officials of the rural development department said that since during the work the beneficiary did not demand therefore the muster roll was not prepared therefore it was not possible to make payment as the MANREGA commissioner has also directed to sort out the issue over which Mr Singh directed that such type of matter should be bought directly in the Seedhi Baat program of the government so that the state government can take a correct decision.

Rajo Devi of Ramgarh said that she was sanctioned a house under Indira Awas Yojana in 2012-13 and she was given the first and third installment of the funds but despite 7 years the second installment of the funds was not given to her over which the rural development department informed that due to negligence of the bank the fund was transferred in account of some other person who draw the entire money due to which the amount could not be recovered over which Mr Singh said that the bank has to pay the beneficiary the money at any cost or else action would be taken against them.
