CM’s efforts brings back Mufeez trapped in Saudi Arab home for Eid

Ranchi: Due to personal efforts of Chief Minister Raghubar Das Mohammad Mufeez who was trapped in Saudi Arabia has returned back to his home located in Hindpiri locality of the state capital on the festival of Bakri Eid.

Mufeez had traveled via Dubai and reached Delhi at 4 am in the morning today where he was received by personal Secretary of the Chief Minister K P Baliyaan at the IGI Airport. Mufeez was kept in captive for more than three months in a company based in Riyadh following which her sister Israt Parveen had urged the Chief Minister to get her brother released.

The Chief Minister had immediately instructed his Principal Secretary to take all necessary steps to ensure that Mufeez comes back to his family. Resident Commissioner MR Meena and personal Secretary KP Baliyaan got immediately to work and got in touch with the officials in MEA and the Indian Embassy in Saudi Arabia in order to bring him back.

The company which had employed Mufeez had filed a case in the court on April 12 due to which the embassy ensured that he was first cleared of his charges and made emergency passport certificate to bring Mufeez back to his family on the occasion of Eid Ul Zuha.

Chief Minister Raghubar Das expressing his delight over the return of Mufeez said that now Israt can celebrate both Eid and Rakhi. He also expressed his gratitude towards the MEA and Indian Embassy in Saudi Arabia and congratulated Mr Meena, KP Baliyaan alongwith Chief Secretary DK Tiwari, Additional Chief Secretary Home Sukhdeo Singh and Principal Secretary Sunil Kumar Barnwal.
