Thoughts and ideals of Sushma Swaraj will always remain with people says Raghubar

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj was like an elder sister to him who always treated him like a younger brother. Addressing a function organized at the BJP headquarters here to pay tributes to the party leader he said that she warmly met with every person and in which area she worked she made a distinct identity for herself and set an ideal for others to follow.

He said that at this moment she was not with us but her thoughts and ideals would always remain among the people as service was hor motto and by serving to the needy we can pay true tributes to her.

He said that Sushma Didi was a live example of women empowerment who always work to take the women forward and in her nature itself it was full of service and it was due to this reason that in the first government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a minister of external affairs for the first time the doors of the ministry were open to the common people and as soon as she got to know about any problem through Twitter she ensured that it was solved immediately and she was also ready to extend help to anyone even from across the border and pointed that on the request of the state government on many occasions she has also extended helped to the people of the state and brought happiness in the lives of lakhs of people.

Apart from India she also helped the citizens of America Pakistan and Britain and also help them get visa and passport and pointed that earlier it used to take months to get the passport made but now the work is done within a week.

The Chief Minister said that he had requested Sushma Didi to open office of the external affairs ministry in the state over which she readily agreed and for this the state government also identified land in HEC and had requested her to lay the foundation stone for the building and while giving it approval she said that after the formation of the state government she had not visited Jharkhand since 2014 but had assured that she would be definitely coming for the foundation laying and as her health condition deteriorated the issue went pending and now the state government would lay its foundation so that her dream can be realized. He said that if the office of the external affairs ministry is opened here than people who go to work to other countries would be highly benefited.

He said for Sushma Didi interest of the nation came first before politics and it was due to this reason her works are being lauded across the world. Mr Das said that 3.25 crore people of Jharkhand are paying tributes to her and by following the path shown by her real tributes can be paid to her.
