Ranchi: The Jharkhand High Court has given reply to Bollywood actors Govinda and Shilpa Shetty as it rejected or petition filed against them over a song in their movie Chhote Sarkar.
Earlier in January also the High Court had put a stay on the arrest warrant which was issued against them. The Court of Justice S Chandrashekhar had kutta stay on the execution of the arrest warrant and had fixed March as the next date of hearing following a decision of the Pakur court in this regard.
A lawyer Mukul Tiwari in the year 2000 at file a case in the lower Court of Pakur against a song in the movie Chhote Sarkar starring the duo claiming that song in the movie had hurt the sentiments of the people.
