
Ranchi: Former Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi was not allowed to meet jailed RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav currently undergoing treatment at the paying ward of the RIMS here due to which he had to return back.
The jail administration did not allow Mr Manjhi to meet Mr Yadav as his name was not in the list of the people who were scheduled to meet the RJD supremo as a result of which he had to go without seeing him.
As per the jail manual on every Saturday three people are allowed to meet Mr Yadav and today it was the turn of his family members and relatives who had turned up at the hospital to meet him.
Those who were granted an audience with Mr Yadav includes his ‘Samadhi’ BN Yadav, Mridula Yadav and another relative Manoj Kumar who had come from Uttar Pradesh. Captain BN Yadav after meeting Lalu told media at the hospital that after a long time he had come to meet him and was very happy to see him.
However, he advocated the need to send Lalu Yadav outside for better treatment. On the other hand, Dr DK Jha who is looking after the health conditions of Mr Yadav said that in his monthly test kidney, liver and uric acid were found to be normal.
