Five lakh sisters to send Rakhis to CM Raghubar Das: Vijaya Rahatkar

Ranchi: National president of BJP Mahila Morcha Vijaya Rahatkar said that the sisters in the state are very happy with the works of the state government as many schemes were launched for their welfare and they are also getting their benefits, therefore, the women have decided to felicitate the Chief Ministers as part of which from 29,000 booths 25 rakhis will be sent to him. 

Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters here he said that 5 lakh women will be sending Rakhis to the Chief Minister and 10,000 sisters will be tying the sacred thread to him for which Stree Shakti Samman Samaroh will be organized.

She said that decision in this regard was taken in a meeting of state working committee of the mahila morcha of the party. She said that from August 1 to 9 the Mahila Morcha will conduct a membership drive as they have been given a target to make 2 lakh new members.

She said that there are 11 crore members of BJP in which the women cell has also played an important role and a target has been set to take it to 20 crore.
