Ranchi: The Cyber Police has arrested three cybercriminals who were wanted in connection with duping a person with Rs 4.50 lakh.
DSP Sumit Prasad said that the arrested have been identified as Prashant Darekar and Sarthak Prasad of Mumbai and Jayesh Kumar of Godda. The officer said that the arrested had withdrawn the money from credit and debit card of the victim Pratap Beketa on June 6.
He said that after an FIR in this regard was registered the police swung into action and arrested the trio. He said that money was transacted through a mobile payment app.
