Gumla: Armed criminals opened indiscriminate firing on a ex-PLFI area commander and his associates at Gindra Mode under Sadar Police Station area of this district however no damage was caused in the incident.
Police said that four armed miscreants opened fire on former PLFI area commander Sanjay Gope alias Sanja Tiger and his associates however somehow they managed to flee from the spot and entered into the home and managed to save their lives.
After hearing bullet shots the villagers came out of their home forcing the criminals to flee from the spot. The criminals were later identified as Situ Sahu, Nandu Sahu, Mahaveer Sahu and Rajan Sahu. Sanjay Tiger had come out of jail two weeks ago and was involved in stone breaking work at the Tongri when he and his associates Karma Gope, Sanju Gope and Amit Gope were attacked.
Upon receiving information DSP Nageshwar Singh with other police personnel reached on the spot and inquired into the incident. He said that all the culprits will be
