3 dead in separate incidents in Palamu

Daltonganj: Three people lost their lives in different incidents which took place under separate police station areas of the Palamu district.

In the first incident under Chattarpur police station area body of Hari Bhuiyaan (62) was found hanging from a tree. Family members said that the man had gone to graze cattle but failed to return.

His body was spotted by locals who informed the family and alerted the police.

One Sitaram Manjhi lost his life as he came into contact with a high tension wire in Karonda village under Patan Police Station area.

In the incident a couple of animals were also electrocuted.

In the third incident which took place at Barkagaon village under Sadar Police Station area a farmers Aditya Dubey (62) lost his life as lightning fell upon a tree under which he had taken shelter to prevent himself from rains. All the bodies were later sent for post-mortem to Sadar Hospital.
