Godda: Police has recovered huge cache of illegal liquor which was meant to be supplied in Bihar from Phulwar village under Poriyhaat Police Station area of this district.
A team led by SDPO Arbind Kumar Singh conducted raids at the house of one Manoj Soren and recovered 725 boxes of Haryan made liquor which was illegally stored in the home.
Police said that the cost of the seized liquor is worth Rs 36 lakh. Police were conducting raids to the nab the house owner and also his other associates who were involved in this illegal trade.
