Mayor Ravi Kumar Raut Holds Meeting on Upcoming Board Meeting; Employees End Proposed Strike After Talks

Deoghar: Preparations for the upcoming Deoghar Municipal Corporation Board Meeting were the main focus of a meeting held at the Municipal Corporation auditorium on Wednesday. The meeting, chaired by Mayor Ravi Kumar Raut, discussed the smooth conduct of the upcoming board meeting as well as civic arrangements and law and order during the forthcoming festivals. Deputy Mayor Tip Chatterjee and councillors attended the meeting and shared suggestions on issues concerning public interest. The councillors also agreed to bring important proposals related to the overall development of the city before the House with consensus.During the meeting, Mayor Ravi Kumar Raut held a positive discussion with Municipal Corporation employees. Following the talks, the employees decided to withdraw their proposed strike.The Mayor said the core principle of the Municipal Corporation is development with dignity. He stressed that communication among citizens, employees, officials and elected representatives should always remain respectful and orderly.He also said that discipline and decorum at the workplace would not be compromised. Any person found engaging in improper conduct or violating rules would face action in accordance with the law.The meeting concluded with a collective resolve to make Baba Nagari Deoghar cleaner, more beautiful and better organised.
