Ranchi Police Conduct Firing Drill to Sharpen Tiger Mobile Force’s Response Skills

Ranchi Police on Friday conducted a firing practice session for personnel deployed with the Tiger Mobile unit and police officers from various police stations, focusing on weapon handling, shooting accuracy and operational readiness.

The exercise was held at the JAP-1 ground in Bariatu on the directions of Ranchi Senior Superintendent of Police. Personnel were instructed in the safe and effective handling of small arms while following prescribed safety protocols and standard operating procedures.

They also practised accurate target shooting and responding quickly and effectively to emergency situations. Officials said the exercise was aimed at improving firing proficiency, discipline, confidence and preparedness for challenging law-and-order and crime-control situations.

Ranchi Police has been focusing on strengthening the operational capabilities of its personnel to ensure an effective response to emergencies and maintain public safety.

Officials said such regular drills help personnel remain prepared for rapidly developing situations while ensuring that established safety and operational procedures are followed.
