Adivasi Ekta Mahajutan Rally on August 30, Delegation Invites CM Hemant Soren

A delegation associated with the Adivasi Ekta Mahajutan Rally met Chief Minister Hemant Soren at his residential office on Kanke Road in Ranchi on Thursday and invited him to attend the proposed rally as the chief guest.

The rally is scheduled to be held at Morabadi Maidan in Ranchi on August 30, 2026. According to the delegation, the event is being organised to raise issues concerning the political representation, constitutional rights, identity, existence and social interests of Jharkhand's tribal communities.

The delegation briefed the Chief Minister about the objectives of the gathering and formally invited him to participate in the programme. The organisers said the rally is intended to bring members of the tribal community together on issues that they believe have a direct bearing on their rights and representation.

The proposed gathering comes amid growing discussions in Jharkhand over issues related to tribal political representation and the possible implications of delimitation. Organisers have been seeking wider participation from tribal representatives and leaders across different social and political backgrounds.

The delegation that met the Chief Minister included Shashi Panna, Ajay Tirkey, Rama Khalkho, Anil Panna, Jyotsna Kerketta, Shiva Kachhap, Anil Oraon and Pushkar Baraik, among others.

The August 30 rally is expected to provide a platform for participants to collectively articulate their concerns regarding tribal rights, constitutional safeguards, political representation and social identity in Jharkhand.
