Voters Urged to Submit Enumeration Forms Promptly; Special Camps to Be Held in Urban Areas on July 18 and 20

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) K. Ravi Kumar has urged all eligible voters to submit their filled and signed voter enumeration forms at the earliest to ensure timely completion of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026 of the electoral rolls.

The CEO said that Booth Level Officers (BLOs) have already distributed enumeration forms to nearly 97 per cent of voters across the state through door-to-door visits. The remaining voters include those who may fall under the ASDDF (Absent, Shifted, Dead, Duplicate and Foreign) category, those living away from their polling stations, or those who could not receive the forms for other reasons.

He advised voters to submit their forms without delay, noting that if any errors are found in the forms, BLOs will have sufficient time to help rectify them before the revision process is completed. Timely submission will also facilitate digitisation of forms and preparation of the ASDDF list.

To assist urban voters, special camps will be organised at polling stations on July 18 and 20, where BLOs, BLO Supervisors and volunteers will help voters obtain, fill and submit their enumeration forms.

K. Ravi Kumar further informed that the third and final meeting of BLOs and Booth Level Agents (BLA-2) of recognised political parties will be held at all polling stations on July 22. During the meeting, the ASDDF list will be finalised and later published along with the draft electoral roll on August 5.

He appealed to BLA-2 representatives of all recognised political parties to cooperate in collecting and submitting voters' enumeration forms to ensure that no eligible voter is left out and no ineligible person is included in the electoral roll.

Voters who have not yet received the enumeration form can download and submit it online through the Voters' Service Portal (voters.eci.gov.in) or the ECINET mobile application. After completing the form, updating the required details and photograph, and verifying it through OTP-based e-sign authentication, voters will receive a confirmation message. The names of all voters who complete the process in time will be included in the draft electoral roll to be published on August 5, 2026.
