Students Inspired Through Interaction on Goals, Discipline and Time Management

Deoghar. A grand welcome was accorded to IAS officer Dhavalendu Pandey, an alumnus of the school, and IFS officer Bhavna Kumari at Geeta Devi DAV Public School, Bhandarkola. On their arrival, NCC cadets escorted them to the venue under the guidance of ANO P. Brahma. The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a melodious welcome song presented by students under the direction of music teacher Abhishek Surya.
School Principal Mohammad Mustafa Majeed welcomed the guests by presenting mementoes and traditional shawls. Addressing the students, Dhavalendu Pandey expressed his pride in returning to his alma mater after passing out in 2006. He encouraged students to set clear goals, maintain discipline and work consistently towards success. He emphasized that regular study and self-discipline are key to achieving one’s ambitions.
Sharing insights on civil services preparation, he highlighted the importance of proper strategy, time management and a positive mindset. He advised students to stay updated with current affairs and practice regularly. During the interactive session, students of Classes 11 and 12 asked several questions, which he answered in a simple and motivating manner.
IFS officer Bhavna Kumari also interacted with the students and addressed their queries. She advised them to remain focused on their goals, manage time effectively and maintain confidence and a positive outlook.
Principal Mohammad Mustafa Majeed said such sessions are highly beneficial for students as they provide the right direction for career planning. A large number of teachers and students were present on the occasion. The programme was conducted by teacher Neelam Chaudhary and concluded with a peace prayer.
