Deoghar: The district administration is taking serious steps to improve facilities and ensure better arrangements for devotees visiting Baba Temple. A key review meeting was held on Friday at the Collectorate auditorium under the chairmanship of DC Naman Priyesh Lakra. The meeting was attended by SP Saurabh, Baba Temple in-charge and Sub-Divisional Officer Ravi Kumar, along with officials from various departments.Detailed discussions were held on several important issues, including better facilities for devotees, smooth water offering arrangements, crowd management, quick darshan ????????, and VIP worship management. The administration’s main objective is to prevent inconvenience to devotees and ensure smooth and organized arrangements within the temple premises.During the meeting, members of the Panda Dharmarakshini Sabha also presented their suggestions regarding temple management. Taking the suggestions seriously, the DC directed concerned officials to make the necessary improvements. He stated that the convenience of devotees is the top priority and that all essential arrangements in the temple complex will be strengthened.
Important issues such as the construction of a new foot overbridge, cloak room facilities, and safe and convenient water offering arrangements were also discussed. The administration assured that prompt action would be taken to further strengthen these facilities.
In view of the rising temperatures, officials were instructed to ensure regular water sprinkling in the temple premises, adequate drinking water availability, and proper healthcare services for devotees. The administration clarified that all necessary measures would be taken to provide relief to visitors during the summer season.At the end of the meeting, the Panda Dharmarakshini Sabha submitted a memorandum to the DC. Sabha president Suresh Bhardwaj, general secretary Nirmal Jha, vice president, and officials from various departments were present during the meeting. The initiative is being seen as an important step toward improving arrangements in view of the increasing number of devotees expected at Baba Temple in the coming days.
