New Principal Assumes Charge, Pledges to Take School to New Heights

Deoghar. Mohammad Mustafa Majid formally assumed charge as the new Principal of Geeta Devi DAV Public School, Bhandarkola on Wednesday. He was accorded a warm welcome by the school family. Teachers and staff members extended their best wishes by presenting bouquets.A special programme was organized to mark the occasion, followed by a grand Yagya-Havan ceremony in the school premises, creating a spiritual and dignified atmosphere. The event witnessed enthusiasm among the school community.Mohammad Mustafa Majid brings around 20 years of experience in the field of education and has served as a Principal in various schools for the past 14 years. He has been transferred from DAV Public School, Barkakana. Under his leadership, a Class 12 student secured the district topper position in the board examination last year and also achieved third rank at the state level, bringing pride to the institution.

In his first address, he said that while carrying forward the glorious traditions of the institution, top priority would be given to academic excellence, quality education, values, discipline, and the overall development of students. He emphasized that with collective efforts, positive thinking, and dedication, the school would achieve new milestones.He further stated that the responsibility of DAV students is not limited to academics alone. They should adopt the ideals of Arya Samaj such as truth, service, values, self-respect, and dedication in their lives. By following these principles, students can grow into responsible citizens and better human beings.
